Today was a huge milestone for our family—my son started school.

As a parent of a child with autism, moments like this carry so much more than a backpack and a first day of class. They carry hope, excitement, and a little bit of nervousness too. We've celebrated every small victory along the way, and today is another reminder of just how far he's come. Watching him walk into school filled me with pride. I know there will be challenges, new routines, and plenty of learning ahead—for both of us. But I also know he's stronger, more capable, and more determined than he gets credit for. To all the parents sending their children off to school, especially those raising kids on the spectrum, I see you. Every milestone is worth celebrating, no matter how big or small it may seem to others.
